The two-time defending GLIAC Champion Grand Valley State Football team has been tabbed to finish second in conference preseason coaches poll slightly behind rival Ferris State.

The Lakers, under the guidance of second-year head coach Scott Wooster, come into the 2024 season ranked #7 nationally in the Lindy’s College Football Yearbook preseason national poll.
