Last season, the Grand Valley State Football team knocked off the back-to-back defending National Champions in the rival Ferris State Bulldogs in the first-round of the playoffs inside Lubbers Stadium.
This season, the Lakers were unable to dethrone last year’s National Champions in the Harding Bisons as an early 7-0 advantage dissolved quickly as the Bisons went on to score the next 31 points en route to a 44-26 victory inside Lubbers Stadium.
GVSU ends its 2024 campaign with an 11-2 overall record as the Lakers now look ahead to the 2025 season and the third year of the Scott Wooster era.
