The Grand Valley State Men’s and Women’s Basketball teams embarked on the GLIAC Postseason Tournament this past week as the men looked to keep their respective season alive, while the women were battling to maintain their top spot in the Midwest Regional rankings and hosting the first weekend of the NCAA Tournament.
This past week saw the Laker Men’s season end in the GLIAC Quarterfinals to the eventual GLIAC Postseason Tournament Champion, while the Laker Women took home their third consecutive conference postseason crown to go with their four straight GLIAC Regular Season titles.
The GVSU Men saw the third season under head coach Cornell Mann end with a 16-13 overall record to go with a fifth-place regular season finish in the GLIAC with a 12-8 conference mark.
